They were very understanding and patient with my animals and they were very caring and concerning about me and my feelings with the animals I would recommend them to everybody and I didn't recommend them to everybody but I did recommend it to somebody and they feel very confident with their abilities just like I do

There are so many great things I can tell you about both Lakeside Emergency Vet and Lakeside Vet Clinic in Carbondale! 4 years ago I arrived there with my girl dog in critical condition and on a stretcher after having been misdiagnosed twice by a local primary care vet. The Lakeside emergency vet used her expansive knowledge, experience and intuition to come up with a likely diagnosis and begin treatment right away. The doc's suspicion was right...my girl was in an Addison's crisis and her quick action saved my girl. This was the first diagnosis of Addison's disease for Emma. The Lakeside team was amazing about both keeping me updated and being caring and kind during my pup's hospital stay. With Addison's, my girl needs monthly injections of hormones for life. We live out of state but spend a lot of time in Carbondale and Lakeside always accommodates Emma's injections so I never have to worry about whether she's going to miss a dose. We've made a number of other emergency trips to Lakeside over the last few years and have always received the same exceptional care mixed in with compassion and outstanding customer service. Emma loves going there and seeing her front desk and vet tech friends. This place is the best and I have and will keep recommending them as number one in the area! I do wish the emergency department could go back to more expanded hours. With the clinic now open in Carbondale, maybe we can all spread the word about our great experiences and help Lakeside make that happen. We love you guys at Lakeside Emergency and Lakeside Clinic in Carbondale!

1) Lakeside Veterinary Clinic has ultrasound equipment to image Guido's (cat) bladder and kidneys. 2) Lakeside Veterinary Clinic was able to provide a second opinion that Guido does not have a tumor. 3) We expected to put Guido down because of a possible tumor. So, Guido gets to live! Yeah! Thank you!

The veterinarian was exceptionally helpful and compassionate. We talked about all the options for treating my pet and I felt that he was more knowledgeable and supportive than any medical professional I've seen in quite awhile. I will be going to Lakeside Spears for all my pets now.

Everyone was very friendly and concerned about Star. Everything was fully explained to my liking. All questions answered. I appreciated a 24 hour follow up appointment to check her an not just a follow up phone call. I would recommend Lakeside Spears Animal Hospital.

Lakeside was wonderful with my sick girl. All the staff showed sincere compassion for us! Dr. Allen was fantastic and down to earth. He didn't run unnecessary tests which made the visit very affordable! Highly recommend Lakeside!

We had taken our beloved Gideon to Lakeside Clinic. Suffering many years with Cushions we had to put him down. I just want to thank the staff with such compassion and dignity for all of us. They really went out of there way to get us thru such a devastating situation. Thank you for all you do.

This weekend was my first time going to Lakeside Spears with my little dog, Frankie, whom almost didn’t make it. Now she is her 100% self again and I can’t thank the staff at Lake Spears enough for their quick response when I first arrived! They all took amazing care of our dog and not only that, but everyone I met on Saturday were all so kind and caring. I will definitely recommend Lakeside Spears to others!! Another thing that actually meant a lot to my mom and I was when we got a call the next day from Lakeside Spears wanting to check on our Frankie! Thank you to all the staff for all you do for those precious animals!

Everyone at Lakeside-Spears has been amazing with all our pets. Our pup began having seizures about a year ago, not something I want to be going through but grateful I am going through this with them. They are patient, kind, understanding, and take the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. They are the best.
